When It All Began
Sometime in April of 2005, a shadow fell over my life in the form of an unrelenting illness. What started as gastro-internal discomfort quickly escalated into a three-year ordeal filled with unanswered questions, restless nights, and breathless panic. I felt like I was drowning in fear while holding on to faith by a thread.

I visited countless doctors, underwent every test imaginable, and even turned to faith healers. Each visit ended with frustration. Diagnoses ranged from GERD and IBS to panic disorder, but none explained the crushing heaviness I felt daily.

The Breaking Point
At one point, I began questioning my own sanity. The emergency room became familiar territory. My muscles trembled from antidepressants, my spirit grew weary. It was during this time that I realized medicine alone could not heal what was breaking inside me.
The Turn Toward God
In desperation, I turned to spiritual deliverance. I joined charismatic prayer groups, immersed myself in worship, and sought God’s presence like never before. One spiritual healer even claimed to see spirits leaving my body as she prayed. Slowly, something shifted.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18
Restoration in His Time
Years later, I can now say with peace: I am healed from that mysterious illness. Was it the medication, the prayers, the lifestyle changes, or all of them together? Only God knows. But one thing is certain: His hand was on me all along, healing what no test could detect and no doctor could cure.
By His wounds we are healed. – Isaiah 53:5

If you are reading this and walking through your own valley, I want you to know this: there is healing. There is hope. And there is a God who sees beyond symptoms, straight into your soul. Keep seeking. Keep praying. He heals in His perfect time.
I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. – Psalm 40:1
