(Pagasa) reports that the easterlies will bring cloudy skies and rain showers to many regions of the country this weekend

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reports that the easterlies will bring cloudy skies and rain showers to many regions of the country this weekend.

According to Pagasa's 4 a.m. weather advisory, areas such as Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon, the Bicol Region, and Eastern Visayas can expect partly cloudy to cloudy conditions accompanied by isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

In Metro Manila and other parts of the country, residents will also see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with similar isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, primarily due to localized thunderstorm activity.

Pagasa has issued a warning about the potential for flash floods or landslides, particularly in areas experiencing severe thunderstorms.

Fortunately, there are no indications of a low-pressure area developing at this time, according to Pagasa's latest monitoring.

Stay tuned for further updates and be prepared for changing weather conditions!
